Since the launch of Samsung Pay in India, the company is working on making the devices compatible with the app. Earlier, the company announced that its Samsung Galaxy Note 5 smartphone to be compatible with Samsung Pay. Well, the good news is that the company has announced another mobile to add to the list. Yes, Samsung added its Samsung Galaxy A5 2016 to the list. Let us have a look at the specs of the smartphone.
The new Samsung Galaxy A5 2016 sports a 5.2-inch full HD display and a pixel ratio of 1080 x 1920 along with a pixel density of 424 ppi. The phone runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and has 72.5% of screen to body ratio. Speaking of the processor, the phone is powered by a Qualcomm MSM8939 Snapdragon 615processor and Exynos 7580 Octa along with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB internal memory. The device also has a GPU set of Adreno 405 and Mali-T720MP2. This memory can be further expanded to 256 GB via MicroSD card.
Moving towards the connectivity part, the new Samsung Galaxy A5 2016 features 4G, 3G, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, and FM as well. The phone has a price tag of Rs 28,990. The smartphone is available in three different versions—gold sand, black sky, peach cloud, and blue mist.
Speaking of the imaging duties, the new Samsung Galaxy A5 2016 has 13 MP of rear camera along with f/1.9 aperture with 28mm, OIS, autofocus, and LED flash. The front camera is of 5 MP with f/1.9 aperture as well as ability to record videos at 1080p and is enough for good selfies. The phone comes with a 2,900mAh battery that is capable of giving 16 hours of talk time and 75 hours of music play time.
